Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Effortless Office. As a key member of our IT infrastructure, you will design, implement, and manage complex network configurations and architecture to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of our enterprise networks.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in enterprise networking, with expertise in designing and implementing high-availability solutions using WAN and VPN technologies. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute network projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex network configurations and architectures, including hardware and software technology, site locations, business continuity, disaster recovery, and integration of technologies.
  • Serve as one of the company's top network engineering expert resources in core routing and switching, network security, and diagnostics.
  • Assess and resolve complex data network problems and incidents, using advanced troubleshooting skills and technical expertise.
  • Develop data network deployment strategies, reviewing analyses and technical feasibility to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company operations and IT infrastructure.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience with Service Provider networking or general telecommunications experience.

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of current technologies, tools, applications, and vendors.
  • Effective oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrate expert proficiency in three of the following technologies: Core routing, Core switching, Network security, Network diagnostics, and Application load balancing.

  • Meraki Firewalls, Switches, and Wireless.
  • Fortinet Firewalls, FortiCloud, FortiClient.
  • Sophos Firewalls and Wireless.
  • SonicWALL Firewalls.
  • Unifi LAN Devices.
  • VMWare Virtualization Platforms.
  • Windows Servers and Services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, paid time off and holidays, opportunities for career growth and development, training and certification support.

Location

This role is based in Las Vegas, NV, with some travel required for special projects.
