Network Architectural Specialist

With a strong focus on supporting the United States Air Force Warfare Center (USAFWC) in achieving its mission objectives, this role involves overseeing the planning, monitoring, and management of the USAFWC Multi-TADIL Network (MTN) architecture and integration of joint data and communications systems. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity and interoperability between various systems and networks.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering concepts and principles, as well as experience working with tactical data link systems and architectures. A background in computer sciences or related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 7 years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field. The ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance with possible SCI is also essential.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. About the Role:

  • Develop and implement effective solutions to ensure the smooth operation of the MTN
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential issues
  • Provide expert-level support for the configuration and maintenance of TDL systems
  • Conduct regular system checks to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any problems that arise
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field and apply this knowledge to improve existing processes

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (computer sciences, engineering, etc.)
  • At least 7 years of experience in tactical data link systems and architectures
  • Strong understanding of engineering concepts and principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance with possible SCI

Work Environment:

This role is based in an office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional travel to remote locations may be required. The ideal candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, sit for extended periods, and use a computer terminal. A state-issued driver's license or other licenses/certifications may be necessary for certain aspects of the job.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
