We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Main Banker to join our team at Ellis Park Racing and Gaming. As a Main Banker, you will be responsible for managing cash handling operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Cash Handling and Management: Reconcile and verify large amounts of money, prepare paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
- Financial Operations: Complete Multiple Transaction Logs, Negotiable Instrument Logs, Currency Transaction Reports, and Suspicious Activity Reports accurately.
- ATM and Ticket Kiosk Management: Perform drop, mutuels drop, replenish, and balance all ATM's and ticket kiosk machines.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and foster a positive work environment.
- Guest Relations: Build relationships and loyalty with guests through sincere and meaningful interactions.
- Problem-Solving: Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Education: High School diploma or GED Certification preferred.
- Experience: One year of experience in cash handling or relevant work experience.
- Licensing: Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid license through the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission (KHRC).
- Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
The job is performed indoors in a gaming environment with frequent exposure to smoke. You will also be in confined areas and occasional exposure to hot/cold temperatures.
