Job Title: Mid Level Engineer HYBRID

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid Level Engineer HYBRID to join our team at HII Mission Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex systems and components for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering functions in one or more of the following specialties: electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil, naval, and/or chemical.
  • Design and develop complex systems and components for various projects.
  • Conduct testing and analysis of systems and components to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met.
  • Participate in design reviews and technical meetings to provide input and feedback.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports to support project milestones.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; or 0 years experience with Master's in related field.
  • Candidate must have DOD/Navy Engineering experience.
  • Candidate must have strong technical skills in areas such as mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.
  • Candidate must have experience with CAD software and other engineering software applications.
  • Candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Candidate must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Bonus Points:

  • For Having NSWC experience.
  • In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) experience.
  • Crane/Davit experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Office, industrial or shipboard environment.
  • Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
  • Lifting and moving of materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one man lift.
