Job Title: Medical Provider Specialist

We are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals to lead our team at Knoxville Recovery Center, a specialized model of care that incorporates evidence-based techniques and modalities.

Knoxville Recovery Center is a compassionate environment providing excellent care for individuals recovering from addiction and alcoholism through a diverse array of therapeutic services.

Position Overview:

This role is integral in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients, through the assessment of patient health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and mental health evaluations.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans, emphasizing evidence-based interventions and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
  • Prescribe and manage medications for addiction and other health conditions, monitoring efficacy and side effects.
  • Provide ongoing patient education and counseling on substance abuse, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
  • Maintain up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations, including confidentiality and HIPAA.

Requirements:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • Experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, or a related healthcare field preferred
  • Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and other addiction treatment modalities
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work compassionately with a diverse patient population
  • DEA registration and X-Waiver
Estimated Salary Range:

$95,000-$120,000 per year. Compensation package includes health insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) matching.
