Job Title: Medical Device Service Specialist

The Medical Device Service Specialist is responsible for the delivery and pick up of Orthopedic Medical Device equipment among hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. This position requires operating a company-owned small van or SUV type vehicle as directed. The right candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as professionalism and outstanding routing and directional skills to ensure equipment is delivered punctually. A clean driving record is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Sales Reps and Product Managers with transporting medical equipment between healthcare facilities and the warehouse.
  • Receive medical items and understand instructions from healthcare facilities.
  • Ensure medical items are securely stored in the delivery vehicle.
  • Verify credibility of all documentation related to medical items.
  • Map out routes to destinations, considering traffic and mileage.
  • Ensure punctual collection and delivery of medical items from healthcare facilities.
  • Verify recipients sign delivery receipts and designations are accurate.
  • Ensure the safety of each item delivered.
  • Accurately count and take inventory of medical items to be collected or delivered.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to urgent situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised with emphasis on punctuality.
  • Ability to lift at least 55 pounds.
