Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Montessori Infant Lead Teacher to join our founding team as we work to bring a new Montessori school to the area. As a Lead Teacher, you will create and lead a model classroom, providing a high-quality Montessori education to infants and setting the standard for our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement a comprehensive Montessori curriculum for infants, ensuring a well-planned and prepared learning environment.
  • Lead a team of teachers and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure a cohesive and effective teaching team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the educational process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and supportive learning environment for students.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in Montessori education.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma and at least 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
  • Experience working with infants in a group setting, such as a preschool, daycare, childcare, nursery, or Reggio Emilia center.
  • A strong understanding of Montessori principles and methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
