We are seeking a skilled Beverage Specialist to join our team at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Food & Nutrition department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality beverages are served to our patients, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take drink orders and ring customers with a smile
  • Brew coffee and create specialty drinks to exacting standards
  • Clean and stock work and condiment areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive experience for all customers

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: Related experience preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: Food Safety Certification or equivalent preferred
  • Skills: Math and cash-handling skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and push moderately heavy objects (20-50 lbs) occasionally, 10-20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly
  • Ability to stand for long periods and frequently kneel, stoop, squat, and bend
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced retail environment
