Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our Sentinel Emulation/Simulation team. As a key member of our Northrop Grumman Defense Systems team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of software solutions that support our Sentinel program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of software engineers in the development and implementation of software solutions for the Sentinel program.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement software engineering processes and procedures to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 6 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with software development methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with team management and leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
