Job Title: Newark Production Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Newark Production Operator to join our team in the CMP Technologies division, located at our Newark-Bellevue Delaware site. As a Newark Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery, including sanding buffers, a splitter, and embosser, as well as specialty instrumentation and other test devices for quality control of the product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Manufacture parts with all safety, quality, and production best practices and requirements
  • Operate industrial machinery and metrology measurement systems
  • Maintain safety standards at all times and initiate emergency procedures when necessary
  • Use the computer for data entry, MTL, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Logbook, training, non-conforming product, audits, etc.
Requirements:
  • Good judgment, attention to detail, and manual dexterity
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, numerical, and analytical skills
  • Good written skills, proficient computer skills, and ability to work with MS Office tools
  • A self-starter who can identify, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks with an ability to work with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and quality protective equipment
  • Some positions may require the ability to wear personal protective devices including a full-face respirator
  • While performing the duties of this job, various physical requirements include climbing stairs, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and performing overhead work
