Team1Medical is collaborating with a reputable podiatry clinic to find a dedicated Surgery Scheduler. This role is crucial in managing the scheduling of surgical procedures, diagnostic tests, and both pre-operative and post-operative appointments. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for verifying insurance benefits and maintaining accurate patient documentation following surgeries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the scheduling of surgical procedures, diagnostic tests, and pre-op/post-op appointments.
  • Confirm insurance benefits and communicate insurance details to patients.
  • Collect necessary co-payments and deductibles for scheduled procedures.
  • Ensure the completion of all required patient paperwork for surgical procedures.
Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role as a Surgery Scheduler or Insurance Verification Specialist is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities, are essential.
