Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT support and systems management, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage support requests using a ticketing system, prioritizing issues based on urgency and impact.
  • Install, monitor, and repair network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless access points, cabling, and related equipment.
  • Repair computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals, and troubleshoot network and desktop connectivity issues.
  • Administer user accounts and configure access to LAN and WAN resources.
  • Install and maintain all required software on user desktops, including Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement IT projects and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
  • Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Develop expertise in the company's ERP system to support user needs and resolve related issues.
Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, preferred or the equivalent in hands-on job experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues independently.
  • Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common business applications, including Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
  • Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and other client-side hardware.
  • Experience working with a ticketing system to manage support requests.
  • Ability to make informed escalation decisions for unresolved issues.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and travel to remote locations when needed.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
