About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at PeaceHealth St. John's Medical Center in Longview, Washington. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and perform standard x-ray examinations, including fluoroscopic procedures, portable examinations, and surgical x-ray procedures.
  • Utilize proper positioning and selection of technical factors to obtain optimal results.
  • Perform x-ray examinations while applying infection control and radiation safety measures.
  • Evaluate patients for pregnancy prior to exams as indicated.
  • May perform surgical x-ray examinations, adhering to AORN standards.
  • Perform other patient care activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.
  • Demonstrated venipuncture competency required.
  • PACS/RIS knowledge required.
  • Washington state Radiology Technologist licensure required upon hire.
  • ARRT-R certification required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
