Logistics Coordinator for Thrift Store Operations

This is a dynamic opportunity to join the Salvation Army - Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARC) team as a Logistics Coordinator for Thrift Store Operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of our thrift store operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of donations to stores.

• Vehicle Operation and Maintenance: Ensure that all assigned vehicles are properly maintained, fueled, and inspected daily to ensure safe operation.
• Customer Service and Relations: Provide excellent customer service to donors, answering their questions and addressing their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Loading and Unloading of Trucks: Safely load and unload trucks with donated items, ensuring that they are properly secured and delivered to the correct location.
• Assistance to Thrift Store Personnel: Assist thrift store personnel with receiving and processing donations, ensuring that they are accurately recorded and stored.
• Supervision of Truck Helper: Supervise and train truck helpers on proper procedures for loading and unloading trucks, as well as providing guidance on customer service and relations.

• A valid driver's license for assigned vehicles and an acceptable DMV record.
• The ability to communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
• The ability to read maps and plan daily routes to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• A medical card may be required depending on city or state requirements.
• A passing score on a DOT Physical is mandatory for this role.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
