Production Assistant

**Job Overview:**

The Salvation Army - Adult Rehabilitation Centers is seeking a Production Assistant (Non-CDL) to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering donations to our warehouse and donor homes, while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Drive a vehicle to pick up and deliver donations to our warehouse and donor homes.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure the truck cab and box are clean and free of personal items.
• Plan daily routes based on assigned pick-ups and make all necessary calls.
• Provide exceptional customer service and treat all customers with courtesy and respect.
• Maintain accurate and complete records.
• Load and unload trucks, taking care to secure and safely handle goods and materials.
• Assist Thrift Store personnel with delivering items to ensure proper placement and location.

**Requirements:**

• Valid driver's license and acceptable DMV record.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Medical card required depending on city and/or state requirement.
• Passing a DOT Physical is a requirement of the job.

**Working Conditions:**

The Production Assistant (Non-CDL) will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent driving and lifting required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
