We are seeking a highly skilled ERP Analyst to join our team at the City and County of Broomfield. As an ERP Analyst, you will play a critical role in optimizing and maintaining our Finance ERP system to enhance business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Administer, configure, and maintain the ERP system to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with system users to gather requirements for system enhancements and customizations.
- Master tester of an ERP system including new modules.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the ERP system.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, recommending and implementing process enhancements to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Work closely with end-users across all departments to understand their needs and translate them into ERP system solutions.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving system-related problems.
- Develop and maintain system documentation including standard operating procedures (SOPs), user manuals and training materials to facilitate user adoption and ensure consistent use of the ERP system.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate the ERP system with other business applications.
- Work with external vendors and consultants for system integrations and specialized projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in ERP system management.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, information technology, business administration, or related field.
- 3 years experience as an ERP Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong track record of successful ERP system implementation and support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and data.
- Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and security.
- Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and related modules.
- Experience with data analysis tools and reporting software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Knowledge of government-specific ERP solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Working knowledge of ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and/or federal, state or local laws, rules, and regulations.
- Working knowledge of the policies, procedures and goals of the City and County.
- Knowledge of Google Suite.
Work is generally scheduled M-F. Regular, predictable attendance is required. Work is performed at City/County work locations with the ability to perform some duties remotely in accordance with Broomfield's remote work policy. Required to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Required to move about office/facilities. Physical demands are described as light (exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects). Required to operate office equipment. Required to communicate and/or detect sounds. Tasks may require use of computer for several hours.
