Full-Time School Psychologist Position for Current School Year | Near Hugo, MN

Caseload: K-5 students, one building. Candidate would be completing assessments and providing services for students who have goals in executive functioning or regulation.
Position Type: Full-time (7:15-3:15, 37.5 hours/week)
Pay Range: $50+/hour, paid weekly
Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Providing counseling and guidance to students individually or in group settings to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Facilitating and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, interventions, and transition plans.
  • Designing and delivering evidence-based interventions to promote positive behavior, academic success, and overall well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working as a School Psychologist is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
  • Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
