We are seeking a Lead Systems Architect (Critical Systems & Networks) to join our team. The position's location may vary based on client requirements.

Essential Qualifications: TS/SCI with a Polygraph

As a Systems Architect, you will deliver systems engineering and technical support for the mission customer's critical networks and systems initiatives. Your responsibilities will include gathering and evaluating technical documentation, facilitating discussions between service providers and product owners, and collaborating with product owners to define and document infrastructure needs. You will assist in requirements gathering, process design and implementation, and CONOPS development. Additionally, you will provide engineering support to evaluate the technical feasibility of programs and related initiatives, including software requirements definition, testing validation and verification processes, and integration activities to ensure the security of critical Federal systems. Your duties will encompass:

  • Offering Cybersecurity subject matter expertise and engineering assistance,
  • Developing process documentation, migration strategies, and program-level systems engineering documents,
  • Engaging in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to identify systems engineering areas requiring enterprise coordination,
  • Overseeing and monitoring ongoing development and integration efforts, coordinating with Forward Deployed Lead Systems Engineers (LSE) and stakeholders,
  • Tracking software development, system requirements, and planning documentation,
  • Guiding and supervising the development and execution of systems engineering processes,
  • Documenting current and future Cybersecurity enterprise architectures,
  • Assisting in system testing and the creation of Test Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) and related program documentation,
  • Analyzing test outcomes and providing recommendations based on findings, and
  • Overseeing software configuration and management procedures.

Required Experience and Skills:
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 20 years of systems engineering experience. A Master's degree or PhD may substitute for two years of experience. Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED combined with 24 years of systems engineering experience is acceptable.
  • Proven experience in supporting Cyber systems, particularly in systems requirement analysis and the breakdown of high-level requirements into measurable system specifications for development and integration teams.
  • This position mandates TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Experience in supporting cybersecurity operations and best practices is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate would possess familiarity with the customer's Cybersecurity organization.
