Registered Nurse - IMCU

MLee Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct, compassionate care to patients in the IMCU, including assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team to deliver coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Operate and manage advanced medical equipment, including cardiac monitors and ventilators.
  • Document all aspects of patient care accurately and maintain thorough patient records.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and necessary follow-up care.
  • Adhere to all healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure a safe and compliant care environment.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in the state of Texas required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are required (or willingness to obtain).
  • Previous experience in an IMCU or similar critical care setting is preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
