As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for leading the internal audit function for Corporate Treasury, ensuring the effective management of liquidity risk, interest rate risk, and funds transfer pricing. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business strategy and providing actionable insights to support the audit function and the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage deep expertise in business strategy to support the audit function and the organization with actionable insights.
  • Support the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, audit approach, and related practices.
  • Coordinate and manage regulatory requests and examinations with bank regulators and external auditors.
  • Directly oversee the audit universe for US Finance and Corporate Treasury and the execution of the annual audit plan.
  • Drive the continual assessment of key and emerging risks and adjust annual plans as necessary.
  • Responsible for delivering key insights to management and supporting functions.
  • Oversee staff and audit engagements/projects focusing on U.S. Finance and Corporate Treasury with broader coverage of Liquidity Risk Management, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book, Funds Transfer Pricing, Financial Planning and Analysis.
  • Maintain Internal Audits approach to opining on the Quality of Finance and Corporate Treasury Management, aligning with key regulatory guidance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ten or more years of experience in Internal Audit
  • Subject Matter Expert in risk management assessment of Corporate Treasury activities
  • Experience implementing and executing a liquidity risk management framework and supporting processes
  • Experience managing relationships with senior leadership and regulatory bodies
  • Experience working at a large banking institution

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Board experience, regulatory background, consulting/public accounting experience
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Degree in economics, business, finance, or other quantitative fields
