Job Overview:
The following responsibilities encompass the primary duties to be executed, but do not limit the potential for additional assignments as necessary:
  • Perform all case management duties for assigned clients, including conducting assessments, developing problem lists, prioritizing clinical issues, and documenting progress notes.
  • Formulate appropriate treatment plans, conduct educational lectures, engage in AMA interventions, and facilitate both group and individual therapy sessions.
  • Provide family therapy as required, maintain communication with referral sources, and update treatment plans as necessary.
  • Present cases during consultations, prepare discharge summaries, and create continuing care plans while making suitable referrals to other agencies and treatment providers.

Additional Responsibilities:
Assist with admissions as needed and handle inquiry calls when required.

Professional Expectations:
Exhibit a professional, ethical, and compassionate demeanor with clients that aligns with the treatment philosophy. Demonstrate a commitment to professional development by attending relevant training sessions and maintaining certification requirements. Ensure the work environment is safe and clean, and represent the facility to referrals and the public when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or a related field.
  • Experience in residential treatment settings, 12-Step recovery programs, and DDAP documentation is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
