Job Title: Senior Director- Controller

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director- Controller to lead our financial strategies and activities. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing financial strategies and activities of the corporation, including preparation of current financial reports, summaries, and forecasts for future business growth. You will also serve as a senior-level mentor for accounting/finance efforts across the sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee financial strategies and activities of the corporation
  • Prepare current financial reports, summaries, and forecasts for future business growth
  • Serve as a senior-level mentor for accounting/finance efforts across the sector
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, including Sarbanes Oxley controls
  • Present monthly financial performance to Executive management
  • Manage Finance leaders responsible for General Ledger accounting, Accounts Payable and Receivable, and Payroll
  • Appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve problems
  • Understand and mitigate key elements of risk profile
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 15+ years' experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in construction/EPC
  • Strong computer skills, specifically Excel
  • A proven leader in mentoring and developing accounting staff
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, executives, and the general public
