Responsibilities:

  • Assist in endoscopic procedures and provide support to medical staff in a dynamic healthcare setting.
  • Prepare and set up endoscopic equipment for procedures, ensuring all necessary tools are readily available.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure safe and effective clinical GI procedures, utilizing GI equipment with precision and skill.
  • Collect and handle specimens with care and attention to detail.
  • Assist with patient positioning and application of monitoring equipment, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the endoscopy unit, adhering to unit policies and procedures.
  • Stock exam rooms and ensure all necessary supplies are available.
  • Clean and prepare scopes for disinfection, following unit policy and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Support the clinical team in delivering high-quality professional care, achieving optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Perform other office duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician or Medical Assistant.
  • BLS Certification required.

Pay and Schedule:

  • $19-24/hour.
  • Monday 10:30AM – 9:00PM.
  • Wednesday 7:00AM – 5:30PM.
  • Thursday 10:30AM – 9:00PM.
  • Friday 8:30AM – 7:00PM.
  • Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday off.
