Manufacturing Automation Specialist

The Manufacturing Automation Engineer is responsible for applying technology to monitor and control production, designing and programming automated machinery and processes, and ensuring the efficient operation of manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes and systems
- Develop and maintain automated machinery and equipment
- Implement quality control measures to ensure product reliability and consistency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity
- Investigate and resolve operational problems and issues
- Develop and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
- Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or similar field)
- 3+ years of experience in automation system design and implementation
- Programming experience in languages such as C#
- Strong understanding of computer programming and software development
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The Manufacturing Automation Engineer will work in a production/office environment, with occasional travel required.
Reporting RelationshipReports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
