We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities- Perform imaging procedures using advanced medical equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Provide exceptional patient care and support, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the imaging process
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Echo Medical Sonography Program
- ARDMS or CCI registration or eligibility, with registration to be obtained within 6 months
- American Heart BLS certification, maintained according to hospital policy
- One year of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a hospital setting
TriStar Summit Medical Center is a 200-bed comprehensive facility serving Davidson, Wilson, and surrounding counties. We offer a full range of acute care services, including cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, rehabilitation, and women's services. Our hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Primary Stroke Center, demonstrating our commitment to providing high-quality care in emergency situations.
