Job Summary

As a Therapist at Oklahoma Mental Health Council dba Red Rock Behavioral Health Services, you will provide ongoing individual and group counseling to an assigned population. You will complete documentation requirements reflecting clinical necessity, meeting program and agency standards.

You will interact regularly with other staff, including the Health Team, and treatment providers to assess and treat individuals with mental, emotional, or substance abuse problems, including abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and/or other drugs.

Responsibilities may include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, treatment planning, psycho-social assessments, client advocacy, prevention, and education.


Key Responsibilities

• Complete intakes, develop treatment plans, determine clinical diagnosis, and refer clients to appropriate resources internally or externally
• Prepare, plan, facilitate, and implement direct care of consumers through groups and/or individual therapy
• Participate in treatment team meetings, providing information pertinent to the welfare of consumers for supervision
• Provide crisis assistance and consult with various third parties as deemed appropriate
• Complete all documentation in a timely manner
• Coordinate input from all team members into the comprehensive treatment plan
• Assist in the development and implementation of programmatic goals and objectives
• Maintain confidentiality
• Maintain core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment
• Maintain effective working relationships and strategic alliances with consumers, other staff, the community, and other non-profit organizations
• Exercise independent judgment
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Seek supervision as appropriate for the safety of consumers and adherence to Policy and Procedures
• Encourage team work and support the culture and goals of the agency
• Maintain compliance with state agencies and any other funding/contract sources
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Master's degree
• Licensed in the state of Oklahoma as one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LFMT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Works effectively in a team environment
• Proficient in the use of technology to perform duties
