Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at British Swim School of Minneapolis-West Metro. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a critical role in teaching water safety skills to children and adults, starting from 3-months old, following our gentle, fun, and progressive aquatics program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, maintaining certifications throughout employment.
  • Work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
  • Interact with students, parents, and guardians to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Report directly to and support the Aquatics Manager in maintaining a high-quality swimming program.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Enthusiastic personality and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable in and around water, with strong swimming skills a plus.
  • Ability to maintain certifications throughout employment and complete all required British Swim School Aquatics-specific training and testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children and adults with varying skill levels.
  • Swimming experience and certifications, such as Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED.
