Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Good Shepherd Services, Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including groundskeeping, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out maintenance schedules and instructions from supervisors, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  2. Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and facilities, including cutting, trimming, polishing, and sweeping.
  3. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  4. Clean windows and screens as directed.
  5. Replace burned-out light bulbs and perform cleaning duties as necessary.
  6. Service heating and cooling units/systems according to manufacturer specifications and established policies.
  7. Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
  8. Clean assigned areas and equipment as directed.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

What We Offer:

A competitive starting wage of $19.00 per hour and a 80-hour work schedule in a two-week pay period.
