Job Title: Site Security Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Security Manager to join our team at American Systems. As a Site Security Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our construction sites and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust security plans in accordance with ICD 705 and organizational policies.
  • Conduct threat and risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Enforce and implement security protocols to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive areas.
  • Lead security meetings, in-progress reviews, and working groups to ensure effective security operations.
  • Conduct design reviews to ensure security requirements are met.
  • Conduct initial and subsequent risk assessments to identify potential security threats.
  • Work with project General Contractors to ensure security requirements are met.
  • Ensure ICD 705 requirements are implemented and advise on any variances.
  • Conduct periodic entry/exit inspections to ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Document security incidents and deviations from security protocols.
  • Ensure access control procedures are implemented.
  • Maintain a list of all workers, companies, and vendors used on the project.
  • Maintain CST and CAG documentation records.
  • Coordinate SSM staff on-site resources to monitor the construction site.
  • Develop SOPs for performance of duties in accordance with ICD 705 and security protocols.
  • Create, develop, and apply inspection methods to finished and unfinished construction work.
  • Initiate and update FFC and TEMPEST checklist compiling all documentation for submission.
  • Perform or oversee all STC and IEEE-299 testing conducted in support of approved security protocols.
  • Ensure adequate coverage on site by delegating tasks as needed.
  • Ensure CSTs full understanding of the construction and purpose.
  • Update CSTs with notes gathered from GC daily meetings.
  • Manage CST daily assignments.
Requirements:
  • TS/SCI Clearance (Active)
  • Bachelor's degree with years of experience
  • 3-5 years construction experience
  • 3-5 years experience with ICD-705
  • 3-5 years of security experience specifically related to ICD 705 (SCIF/SAPF) Construction, Intelligence Operations, Counter-Intelligence Operations, Counter-Surveillance Operations, Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures, Physical Security, or a combination of these experiences
  • 3 years minimum direct experience working on ICD-705 construction projects
  • 3 years experience as a Construction Surveillance Technician
  • Capable of independent decision making, possess a high degree of individual initiative and be able to function with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to stand, walk for several hours while at the worksite.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position.
Certifications/Training:
  • Site Security Managers Training/Certification
  • Construction Surveillance Technician Training or Certification is desired
Travel:
  • 40% Travel required (CONUS/OCONUS)

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
