Job Summary:

Irvine Technology Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud to join our team. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software products.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and agile development within the team.
  • Work with developers to optimize the software development process, integrating automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment, and other DevOps best practices.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of infrastructure and applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) using infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions for production systems, ensuring high availability and rapid response to incidents.
  • Manage and maintain DevOps tools and processes, including source control (e.g., Git), build and deployment automation (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI), configuration management (e.g., Chef, Puppet), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Work with security teams to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards, and implement security best practices in the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, IT operations, or DevOps, including at least 2 years of experience managing a team.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and practices, such as continuous integration and deployment, infrastructure-as-code, and containerization.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (Azure Cloud experience is a must) and associated services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
  • Proficiency with programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes, including source control (e.g., Git), build and deployment automation (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI), configuration management (e.g., Chef, Puppet), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to think strategically about complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
