Registered Nutrition Specialist

Lebanon Nursing & Rehab is in search of a Full-Time Registered Dietitian. This role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule.

The Dietitian within the nursing facility is tasked with overseeing the nutritional needs of patients and residents, ensuring quality control, modifying diets, and creating nutrition care plans along with necessary documentation.

• Advise the Nursing Home Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Food Service Director on clinical nutrition care aspects.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to formulate nutrition care plans for residents and patients.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of nutritional interventions.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of nutrition assessments and recommended interventions.
• Address nutrition-related concerns with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide dietary education and instruction to residents, families, and caregivers.
• Oversee the nutrition care delivery process to maintain clinical excellence.

* Registered and/or licensed Dietitian as per state requirements.
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting or as a consulting dietitian is preferred.
* Experience with the geriatric population is advantageous.
