Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the hospital staff to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and to provide guidance and support to nursing personnel.
  • Manage disciplinary issues, prepare administrative reports, and review staffing and budgetary needs.
  • Participate in program development and training for nurse-recruitment activities and assist with continuing education programs.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate designated nursing staff, and assign duties and coordinate nursing services.
  • Develop and implement nursing protocols and procedures, and provide continuing education and staff development opportunities.
  • Assess patient needs, participate in providing nursing care, and ensure that services are carried out and documented appropriately.
  • Maintain patient health care records and supply inventory records, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Promote adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring employee performance and identifying and responding to compliance issues.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid Registered Nurse / RN license in the state.
  • BCLS and ACLS certification.
  • Two years of Registered Nurse / RN nursing experience in a hospital.
  • One to two years supervisory/leadership experience.
