About the Role

Nexamp is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the training, support, and management of our field-based Construction Superintendents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Construction Superintendents to ensure the successful execution of solar project construction, focusing on quality, safety, and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop project plans, conduct field walks, and provide input on project designs and permitting processes.
  • Assist in the development of risk assessments, execute SWPPP and BMPs, and provide job site safety briefings and tailboard talks.
  • Support the commissioning and closeout process, including as-builts, warranties, permit documents, commissioning docs, and O&M manuals.
  • Conduct weekly audits of project folders in Procore, review daily logs and inspections, and ensure timely closure of tasks.
  • Share best practices and expertise to continuously improve project design, construction, and operation.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of construction management experience, preferably in the solar industry, with a successful track record in project management.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, and various other construction management tools, with experience with Procore a plus.
  • Understanding of medium voltage systems and equipment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, with OSHA 10 certification a minimum requirement.
  • Maintains professional licenses in trade, such as CSL or NABCEP PV.
  • Willingness to travel up to 3-4 days per week to job sites.
  • Valid and current driver's license.
