Role Overview
The Internet Security Research team is tasked with producing high-quality content for our products aimed at preventing cyber threats, particularly in areas such as DNS security, network protection, and privacy.
We are responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining various detection systems and data infrastructures to defend our clients against ever-evolving cyber threats.
Your Contributions
- Conduct research on emerging threats and develop innovative methods to identify malicious indicators utilized by malware and attacks, including domains, URLs, IP addresses, and more.
- Design and implement scalable and adaptable prevention and detection systems.
- Utilize data-driven methodologies, including statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Transform research findings into actionable products and scholarly articles.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields with security research experience, or equivalent military background; a PhD in Cyber Security or Machine Learning is advantageous.
- A creative thinker and collaborative team member, with a strong passion for data-driven security research.
- Expertise in DNS and DNS security, along with a solid understanding of machine learning algorithms such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, and more.
- Proficient programming skills in Python, Shell script, Go, or SQL.
- Familiarity with core network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) and modern databases/big data tools like MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in malware traffic analysis and graph database technologies is a plus.

Compensation
The compensation for this role will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates receiving an offer, the expected starting base salary ranges from $170,000 to $275,000 annually, along with potential stock options and bonuses.
