Job Title: Adjunct Instructor - Computer Information Technology - Cyber Security

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Computer Information Technology - Cyber Security courses at our institution. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cyber security and the ability to teach and evaluate students in a classroom and laboratory setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach classes as assigned and outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi.
  • Supervise the study and learning activities of students assigned.
  • Submit requests for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids through the department head, program coordinator, or lead teacher.
  • Evaluate the academic progress of students.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures as defined in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook.
  • Submit course grades and perform other administrative duties as required.
  • Schedule two office hours, with a written plan submitted to the Dean for extenuating circumstances.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited college/university, with at least 5 years of full-time practical cyber or cyber-related working experience, and possess at least one current industry-recognized cyber credential.

Availability:

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position, with teaching assignments on a term-by-term basis. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available.
