Pathology Opportunity in Phoenix

We are seeking a highly skilled Pathologist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a member of our esteemed Medical Group, you will have the opportunity to work in an academic setting with select teaching responsibilities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for anatomic pathology sign out, teaching pathology support for resident conferences and tumor boards, and working with a team of five pathologists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pathology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform anatomic pathology sign out with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide teaching support for resident conferences and tumor boards.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of pathologists to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 10,000 surgicals, 2,200 non-gyn cytologies, 8,000 gynecologies, 100 bone marrows, and 5-10 non-ME autopsies.
Requirements
  • MD, DO, or MBBS degree.
  • Board Certification/Eligibility required.
  • AZ licensure required by date of hire.
