About the Role

SummitRidge Hospital, a leading psychiatric hospital in Lawrenceville, is seeking an experienced Mental Health Technician (MHT) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission of patients to the unit and ensure a smooth transition to their treatment plan.
  • Orient patients to the unit environment and provide guidance on daily routines and expectations.
  • Collect and safeguard patient belongings, including items that may pose a risk to themselves or others.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver quality patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field; or three years of experience in mental health care/social services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
What We Offer
