Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our Arrhythmia Services Department, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures and functions related to pacemaker and ICD analysis and reprogramming, record keeping and billing for device checks, remote device check analysis, and backup coverage for holter transmission analysis and pacemaker telephone checks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical procedures and functions for the Arrhythmia Services Department, including pacemaker and ICD analysis and reprogramming.
  • Maintain accurate records and billing for device checks.
  • Conduct remote device check analysis and provide backup coverage for holter transmission analysis and pacemaker telephone checks.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Two years of experience working in a cardiac office or hospital setting, required.
  • CCT or CRAT certification obtained within one year of start date, required.
  • Basic knowledge of pacemaker/defibrillator function, anatomy and physiology as it relates to cardiology, and basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Preferred qualifications include International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Cardiac Device Certification, basic knowledge of holter/event recorders, and electronic medical records experience, particularly with EPIC.
