Job Summary:

CoreCivic is seeking a highly skilled Case Manager to provide exceptional care and support to inmates/residents in a secure institutional setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality case management services, classification, and transitional support to ensure a smooth transition for individuals back into the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Intake Process: Participate in the intake process by collecting, organizing, and analyzing information about individuals to ensure accurate and comprehensive case management.
  • Casework Services: Provide direct casework services for social involvement, health needs, and community life to inmates/residents, promoting their overall well-being and rehabilitation.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and collaborate on various reports and develop case presentations on assigned inmates/residents, highlighting their progress and needs.
  • Programming and Resources: Coordinate appropriate programming, resources, and services for social development and in preparation for inmates/residents transition or release into the community.
  • Point of Contact: Serve as the point of contact in absence of the Unit Manager, ensuring seamless communication and support.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience: Experience providing case management services is preferred. Additional experience in a criminal justice field or case management services may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis up to two years.
  • Communication Skills: Must demonstrate ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office applications or other similar software applications is required.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
  • Age Requirement: Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
