Key Responsibilities- Coordinate clinical activities, patient care assessment, and quality improvement initiatives in the Wound Care Center.
- Collaborate with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet the Center's program objectives and ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Provide clinical oversight to clinical staff, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Medical Assistants.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, and provide education to patients and caregivers on wound care management.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to processes and procedures, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Engage in staff development, provide in-services, and individual instruction and orientation.
- Collaborate with the Program Director to achieve Wound Care Center quality indicators.
- Current RN license and Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- One year of experience as an RN, with two or more years of experience preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience and wound care certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and provide excellent customer service.
