About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC systems mechanic to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a commercial HVAC technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their facilities are running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

As an industrial HVAC specialist, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems. You will also provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities are running efficiently, including upselling opportunities. Additionally, you will be required to provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Ability to commit to a 30-Hour OSHA Certification, which is to be done after hours and weekends, is required upon hire.
  • Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of commercial and/or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Refrigeration Certification preferred.
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $45-$52 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
