Our Personal Care Assistants are essential in delivering assistance to our patients at the day center and play an active role in the care planning process as part of our interdisciplinary team (IDT). We focus on providing exceptional care to our patients while nurturing a supportive work atmosphere for our staff.

Key Duties:

  • Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities (ADLs) for participants, including escorting, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, meal support, and laundry services.
  • Assist participants in boarding and disembarking from transportation, serving as a medical escort when required.
  • Oversee activities within the day center to ensure the safety of all participants.
  • Manage meal service, ensuring participants receive appropriate meals and offering feeding assistance as necessary.
  • Help participants with safe transfers to and from their residences, accompanying them as a medical escort to appointments and transportation.
