Job Summary
Cathay Bank is seeking a skilled Relationship Banker II to join our team. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Open new accounts and cross-sell bank products and services to customers
- Provide personalized customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Process transactions, including deposits and withdrawals, and reconcile cash drawers
- Assist customers with problem resolution and provide solutions to meet their financial needs
- Work collaboratively with other banking teams to achieve sales and customer service goals
Requirements
- 1-2 years of cash handling, customer service, or sales experience in a retail environment
- College degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred
- PC literate and typing proficient, with experience with banking software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work weekends and extended hours as required
