Job Title: Director of Business Development/Admissions

Browns Health and Rehab is seeking a highly skilled Director of Business Development/Admissions to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Director of Business Development/Admissions will play a critical role in achieving facility census goals and annual budget projections by developing and implementing effective business development strategies. This includes working with local community agencies to generate a positive image and encourage referral activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct admission screenings of potential patients to determine level of care, services required, equipment needs, and insurance coverage.
  2. Coordinate admissions with staff and conduct tours of the facility for prospective residents.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with local community agencies to generate referrals.
  4. Assist in achieving facility census goals and annual budget projections.

Requirements:

  1. Admissions experience in a geriatric or rehabilitative nursing environment.
  2. Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Managed care insurance.
  3. Ability to work independently.
