Senior Tax Accountant - US International Tax

Linde Inc. is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our US International Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our international tax calculations and provisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and review of US international tax calculations and compliance functions
  • Collaborate with business units and corporate departments to gather information and understand the impact on tax returns
  • Perform tax technical research and draft memos supporting positions
  • Provide support on IRS audits, including drafting responses and gathering relevant information
  • Assist with research related to mergers & acquisitions and international tax planning projects
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline processes and improve analysis
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, plus at least 3-4 years of experience in public accounting and/or private corporate tax with US international tax exposure
  • Basic understanding of US International tax rules
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within the Tax and Finance Teams
  • CPA and/or Master of Tax preferred, along with knowledge of ASC 740 Tax Accounting
