We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Tasting Room Associate to join our team at Sterling Vineyards. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional wine tasting experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and host wine tastings and tours for guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide world-class customer service to site visitors, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Assist in events, private dinners, and various site activities, showcasing our wine portfolio and expertise.
- Assist with restocking, inventory, wine packing, and floor upkeep, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Register operations, retail sales, and wine club promotions, accurately tracking sales and customer interactions.
- Follow site policies and procedures, adhering to our high standards of quality and service.
- Complete projects and other duties as directed by the Retail Sales Manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- You must be 21 years of age, with some experience in retail sales or a similar hospitality setting.
- Exemplary customer service skills are required, with the ability to relay knowledge of wines and wine production.
- You have strong presentation skills, a dynamic personality, and a positive attitude, with a clean and professional appearance.
- You excel at teamwork and interactions, with a passion for the wine industry and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of food and wine, the wine industry, and Napa and Bay Area restaurants is highly desirable.
- You must be able to lift 50 lbs. (a case of wine), with a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and evenings.
