We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at Stanford University. The successful candidate will contribute to our research laboratory's efforts to study moyamoya disease and its underlying mechanisms using genetic and biological approaches.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research on moyamoya disease using patient samples and in vitro models such as induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)
- Develop and implement novel research strategies to investigate the disease's underlying mechanisms
- Collaborate with our team to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results
- PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant subject area, such as cerebrovascular diseases, vascular biology, or immunology
- Expertise in induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) and in vitro cell culture techniques
- Experience with differentiating endothelial and vascular smooth muscle cells and organoids
- Strong background in molecular biology, flow cytometry, and transcriptomic analysis
