Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of the LALA U.S. Inc. team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the facility's equipment and processes. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a team of maintenance technicians, prioritize tasks, and maintain a safe and secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide shift leadership to the maintenance staff, setting direction on daily activities and administering company policies.
  • Schedule work of subordinates and establish daily priorities for completion of work assignments within operating budgets.
  • Maintain maintenance records, interpret daily downtime reports, and ensure compliance with GFSI (SQF) and HACCP programs.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment, including correcting unsafe acts/conditions, performing monthly safety inspections, and investigating accidents.
  • Provide administration and supervision of the plant maintenance function as directed.
  • Arrange for maintenance of adequate levels of supplies, materials, and tooling.
  • Resolve technical problems encountered related to area of responsibility.
  • Arrange for all equipment in area to be properly maintained and upgraded as needed.
  • Provide daily logs, including daily scheduled and nonscheduled work sheets and equipment PMs.
  • Initiate, review, and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Five or more years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least two or more years of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Prior experience in food and beverage manufacturing environment with familiarity with quality, GMP, and hygiene regulations.
  • Prior experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electric systems, PLC control systems, and communication systems.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs with a grasp of financial factors in maintenance.

  • Occasionally twists and turns, kneels and squats.
