Job Title: Sheet Metal Foreman

ColonialWebb is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Foreman to lead our commercial sheet metal projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate work activities for Sheet Metal Mechanics and Helpers
  • Perform installation and service duties while providing guidance and demonstrating best practices to other mechanics, apprentices, and helpers
  • Inspect work in process and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Direct installation of assemblies and interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed
  • Select gauge and type of sheet metal according to product being fabricated and knowledge of metal
Requirements:
  • Current or previous leadership experience as Foreman, Supervisor, or Superintendent working on commercial sheet metal projects
  • In-depth work experience and ability installing commercial sheet metal systems
  • Strong experience and ability to interpret drawings and plans
  • Extensive knowledge of International Mechanical Code (IMC) and Sheet Metal and Air Contractors National Association (SMACNA) standards
  • Safety-minded and thorough knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
  • Ability to utilize judgment to make decisions, independently
  • High energy level to handle dynamic, evolving, and fast-paced workload
  • Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter
  • Skillful listener, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
