Career Renew is Seeking a Solidity Developer

We're revolutionizing finance with a fractional-reserve stablecoin, unlocking levels of capital efficiency that have historically only been accessible to banks.

We recently closed an oversubscribed pre-seed fundraise and are now seeking to grow our team.

About the Role

We aim to realize the visions of Satoshi and DeFi alike, making banks obsolete through fundamental improvements to capital efficiency.

As part of our team, you'll be building a decentralized financial system that automates the banking process and maximizes returns by collapsing the inefficiencies of traditional banks.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop smart contracts in Solidity.
  2. Utilize existing knowledge of DeFi designs and mathematical acumen to design and implement engineering solutions to advanced financial problems.
  3. Collaborate with non-technical teams to overcome obstacles and incorporate feedback into development.
  4. Align with the rest of the technical team to understand needs across the entire stack.
  5. Develop and maintain testing frameworks and tools to ensure comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and contract deployment automation.
  6. Incorporate newer testing techniques, such as AI-driven fuzzing and analysis, on a case-by-case basis.
  7. Maintain knowledge of these emergent security techniques.
  8. Work with top industry security partners to design code within the constraints of their advice.
  9. Communicate with these partners on a semi-regular basis.
  10. Work across the technical team to maintain a rigorous and continuous approach to DevSecOps.
  11. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to smart contract development, deployment, and integration.
  12. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in smart contract technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
  13. Document code, specifications, and processes to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
  14. Be a team player who can work well in a fast-paced environment with significant drive and initiative.
Requirements
  1. 5 or more years of experience as a Developer.
  2. 3 or more years of experience as a Solidity Developer.
  3. Experience developing and deploying EVM smart contracts.
  4. Extensive experience working at leading companies in the DeFi space.
  5. Expert knowledge of Solidity best practices and design patterns.
Benefits
  1. Competitive compensation and equity.
  2. Fully-remote working environment.
  3. Working on the bleeding-edge of DeFi.
  4. Budget for conference trips and team events.
  5. Budget for professional development.
